What We’ve Been Up to Lately
- The JOY512 app – Joy512 has a new app that you can download for free. Just go to www.joy512.com/app and get your JOY512 app today. Over the last 6 months we’ve had 60k listeners on JOY512 and we keep growing. The local Worship Station is catching on with listeners in the Austin area.
- JOY512 Weekend Joyride – A new weekend 30-minute show that focuses on Faith, Worship and great things to do in Texas. Hosted by Mac and Rhoni McClennahan and airs Saturdays 11am, Sundays 12pm, and 5pm. Check it out on JOY512.
- JOY512 Joyful Noise — A new contest to listen at 5:12pm M-F for your chance to win tickets to artists like Brandon Lake, Phil Wickham and Lauren Daigle. Mac plays a song from the artists and gives a keyword from the song and listeners then text in the keyword to qualify to enter to win tickets to the show.
- ALPHA. Ekklesia of Texas and JOY512 partnered with Kingdom Sounds, Kira Fontana and Nic Miller to follow up with people who went to O Holy Night December 2024. Starting in January 2025 Mel joined in with a city wide ALPHA team to take over 60 people through the Alpha course. This was the second ALPHA course in downtown Austin and it was exciting to see the people come with questions about Who Jesus is and Who He says He is. Just like last Alpha we had baptism in Bartaon Springs. God is calling ALL to salvation through Jesus!!
- Austin Awake! Ekklesia of Texas and JOY512 partnered with Austin Awake! on their Prayer Workshops at Shoreline Church in March and June 2025. Pastors and intercessors across the city gave training on various topics such as; Spiritual Battle, Contending for Your Family, Scripture Fed Prayer, Listening Prayer, Dreams and Interpretations, Praying for our Land and the Gates of a City, A City in Crisis, Building a House of Prayer plus a panel discussion with pastors and ministries in the city. Over 230 people attended the Prayer Workshops representing 42 churches in the Austin area from all denominations. Stay tuned for more workshops in the future.
- Ekklesia of Texas and JOY512 worked with ADRN to help out families in Central Texas who were hurt by the Central Texas Floods. JOY512 ran public service announcements to have listeners volunteer, give cash or pre-packaged Amazon kits for flood victims. JOY512 ran public service ads during the month of July and August 2025.
10 Days September 22 – October 2, 2025 Texas State Capitol

Who: All are invited to come and pray for the return of Jesus, Repentance and Worship
The 10 Days event is an international and national time set aside to pray for the Return of Jesus, Repentance and Worship of our Lord. It is based on the 10 Days in the Upper Room in Acts and happens twice a year in Spring before Pentecost and in the Fall during the “Days of Awe” between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. Everyone is invited to participate at this “come and go” event for our Nation, State, and Austin area.

Worship and Praise Music in the city
Our world has rapidly changed and praise and worship music is becoming one of the most popular genre’s of music in the USA. Would you believe that Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham sold out the Moody Center on July 25 with over 15,000 people. This has NEVER happened in Austin. As God reveals truth of our government, our leadership and world, people are seeking more than just entertainment. Surprisingly, worship songs like CeCe Winans “Come Jesus Come”, Brandon Lake’s “Hard Fought Hallelujah” and Forrest Frank’s “Good Day” have all topped the Apple Itunes Music charts at #1 in ALL MUSIC GENRES!!! This is unprecedented in our country and we are seeing a major shift with younger demographics’ desire for TRUTH in music. As the Lord “reveals all that is hidden and done in secret into the light” (Matt 10:26, Luke 12:2, Mark 4.22 and Luke 8:17) in our culture, people are seeking God and Truth. Ekklesia of Texas and JOY512 promoted many concerts in Austin over the last several months. Supporting local and national artists worshipping and praising our Father is the city is KEY to shifting the environment in the Austin area. JOY512 promoted the following shows in 2025 :
